The largest textile research institute in the world

Over 6,500 square meters in size and 12million euros in investment – these are the impressive stats behind the new Bionic Lab, which is probably the largest textile research institute in the world. Under this pioneering project between X-Technology Swiss Research & Development AG and Trerè s.r.l. Hosiery Innovation, basic research with a bionic twist is intensively advanced. In addition, special materials, engineering and production technology for high-tech functional apparel are developed that can immediately be implemented in the on-site production facility.
