LOWA has a long history of traditional and innovative shoemaking. The company was founded by Lorenz Wagner, one of three sons of master shoe maker Johann Wagner. In the years following the Second World War, Lorenz Wagner firmly established LOWA by making high quality mountain and ski boots.

Today, the LOWA product range also includes socks and shoe accessories. Their products are trusted by users all over the world, including extreme mountaineers such as Hans Kammerlander, Robert Jasper and Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner. LOWA alpine, trekking and hiking shoes are also chosen by a wide variety of walkers, hikers and mountaineers. X-Technology is proud to have provided design expertise to LOWA Austria. We produced high-tech socks tailor-made for LOWA footwear and worked in close cooperation to develop accompanying sales materials.
